For whatever reason, we weren't able to work these pieces in with our earlier series, so consider this like the "DVD Extras" that no one's ever seen - until NOW!
[Going Natural 2.0] Click Fu - Double Your Conversion - This video was the breakout hit of the "Going Natural 2.0" series - Here, Faculty Andy Edmonds leads you through some powerful analytics based on web usability and design that can take the traffic you are ALREADY GETTING and wring almost twice as much profit out of it. This video was the precursor to the StomperScrutinizer tool we released earlier this year, and should give you a hint of some of what we have in store for you from StomperLabs in 2008!

This is great! Thanks so much!
i cant wait to see where this site goes, sounds really amazing. keep up the good work
One fantastic video supported by some fantastic net stompers!
This was a fascinating video with some of the best insider advice available, without a doubt. Thanks for that. In fact, the whole se of new videos have been a real blessing. I have most definitely learnt a great deal of information I just did not know.
And the info I did know just got a massive refresh. It has made me take action, which is good for business.
Wishing you great success with the videos.
Sincerely,
John Adams

I can say that this video is excellent and awesome! I've learned a lot from this video. Thank you!
This has given me a lot to think about. I actually tried using this method (not the exact method though) before seeing this video and had some ok results.
Hello Gents and Ladies !!
Your info makes sense,and works.
Fantastic info video's , has you say it's not hard. You guys rock.
George F. www.doodadsplus.com
Dan,
Thanks! Its good to know that I didn't do anything wrong... I've shifted to the exact match first... and do the expanding later on...
More power to you and your team.
Eric
Great video. Has given me plenty to think about.
Eric - that setup is designed to make ONLY your exact match ad group trigger for the exact search [baby gifts].
I always recommend getting profitable on exact matches first, before expanding.
I had to pause my ads for a month because they really weren't worth it. But this new information is a real eye opener.
One word for this video....AWESOME!!!!
Can't believe I've learned so much in an hour... well more than that as I've watched the video 3x already!
Each I time I watch it... I learn something new! I went out and tested it on a new campaign of mine. Its only been up for a little more than a day, so can't say the results are conclusive... but it looks very promising though!
Dan, before I was able to read your advise to start with the exact match only. I have already tried out embedded match... as I've said the campaign looks promising... but I have a few questions:
1. For the broad match ad group, I have to put a negative for the phrase match... right? e.g. -"baby gifts"
2. For the phrase match ad group, I have to put a negative for the exact match... right? e.g. -[baby gifts]
Assuming you answered yes to both questions... my third question is "Will this exercise not show my broad match and phrase match ad groups for my keyword as they overlap with my the ad group keyword?"
I checked my keywords and everythings fine according to google except that my ads are not showing for my broad and phrase match ad group because I have a negative keyword that's preventing it from showing... and I checked their recommendation and they said, this happens when you have overlapping keywords....
Well, I'm sure you get what I mean... I'm far from being an advanced adword user, so I need your help regarding this... I don't know if its supposed to be that way or if I did something wrong...
I know... I will pull the plug on the broad and phrase match ad groups immediately! Sorry, I couldn't help myself... the video was that great!!!
Anyway, I'd still love to hear from you regarding this... for future reference!
Thanks & congratulations guys! You're one hell of a team... and with good humor too!
Cheers,
Eric
Excellent training in this video. The part about using microsoft adlabs data to target commercial intent was worth the whole video by itself.
I've been around the game for a long time and it was completely new info to me. Also, can use the commercial intent to target your SEO campaigns so you can be relatively assured your hard work is going to pay off in customers when you get that first page unpaid listing instead of finding out what you thought was good was actually wasted effort.
This could save you thousands of hours.
Amazing stuff guys Keep up the good work

What a fantastic video. Thank you so much!
The adwords video has to be the best introduction and explanation I have ever seen for making a start with Google AdWords, without a doubt.
There is no doubt that PPC is a scary part of internet marketing, especially for the newcomer.
Your video is really a beneficial introduction and step by step process into making a start, and that is exactly what every home business and small business website owner needs to make the jump in to the big league.
I will definitely be watching the video at least another dozen times. It really was that good.
Thanks for the professional advice.
Sincerely,
John Adams

Looks great, but 55 mins to watch a video. No chance. I find it difficult to watch anything longer than 20 mins.

This is probably the greatest free video I've ever seen.
You're videos always impress... they are educational and ENTERTAINING TO WATCH!
That's where you explode past almost everyone else.

Holy Schnikey's, guys. All of it was great, but the last few minutes with the lesson regarding "Embedded Match" was priceless. I am going to implement it right away on some of my affiliate campaigns. I'll also be able to get it testing my primary business as well. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Hey guys this has got to be one of the best information videos for free I have ever saw. I think you went above and beyond the usual. Most of the information I already knew and teach it to as many of my members in my success lines as possible. The embedded match I was not familiar with and will surely increase my ROI with this new knowledge. The biggest problem I have at the moment is being able to teach all of them. My nutrition supplement program was rated number one in all of North America by ABC News 20/20 and Esquire Magazine so it is not hard to sell but teaching nearly thirty thousand people how to go about selling it causes a big problem for me. My question is this. If I direct them to your StomperNet program can you handle that many people coming in at once or should I tell just a few at a time. I do not wish to tell everyone to go if you are not set up to train all at once. Plus, Do you offer personal training. I thought I knew all I needed to know but after seeing the portion of the video on embedded match ( which made me kick myself for not seeing the obvious ) I realize that you guys can teach an old dog new tricks as well.
Thank You In Advance,
Teddy Freeman
Great job, I am anxious to apply these concepts. I am a newbie who I hope you will see more of soon.
Increcible video and content! I just heard of you from a Master Mind call. Looking for more info in the future.
The information delivered - priceless! I can't wait to get started and test some campaigns. The video may have been jam packed, but was full of the good stuff and entertaining too!
Thanks.
Hey guys, thank you so much for this videos. I have been struggling with my Adwords for a year now and because of this video it took my campaign from a CTR of 0.30% to a 2,3%. Can't wait to see what's going to happen in a month or so after tweaking it a bit. Keep well
This is really Great guy's, when you give true honest value like your doing and like we believe in also at www. th1market .com

Thank's
Hi
I've used about 60% of these technique (before i saw the video) and have been averaging 70% conversions (for optins) over 4 keywords in two weeks after the 'tweaks'. I can't wait to apply the refinement mentioned on this video to start raking in the profits and profit margins
Chris V
PS no i'm not lying, exaggerating or kidding on the 70% conversion - it's crazy!
hey guys that was an great vidio, I wish I had seen it months ago. Thanks for all the good information.

Jennie, you should be added now, things got a little backed up but we're straight now. You should have an email from us by now.
Scott, there is no such thing as a "normal" conversion rate. A high bounce rate could indicate, among other things, that somewhere between the search query -> ad creative -> landing page, people aren't happy with what they're seeing. With an affiliate sales page, there's not a whole lot you can do to change it.
Hi Guys, how many click through's are normal before one should get a sale?
Clicks 46
Impress 617
CTR 7.45%
CPC $1.31
6 days cost $60.23
Average position 2.2
Key phrase has a 0.86069 commercial intent
and when compared to male yeast infections in g-trends it does 3x better
I have changed the ads around and the latest one is getting 31.57% CTR per day at a budget of $10
is this good on not. If good why are there no sales? The ad takes the customer to an affiliate sales page that has an 80% bounce rate though the client stays on the page for an average time of 00:02:38 minutes. Do you have any thoughts on this? And I am happy for you to use this as an example.
Thank you
Scott

Another INCREDIBLE video...I can't wait to see the bonus videos. I just finished SMARTS and am a member of the SMARTS club. StomperNet never fails to deliver. If you're overwhelmed with emails from *other* gurus, delete them and just keep the Stomper emails coming in...

Wow... you guys rock. Seriously.
The bonus video on keyword strategy is locked and loaded - we're announcing another Going Natural video soon, so it will be available with that.
I know you're all going to "leave me" as soon as Howie & Jerry's video goes out... (sigh) so I'm going to get in one more set of answers here.
@ Silver Solutions, the keywords on your landing page should match the keywords you're bidding on to send traffic to that page. If you use broad match, it can be more difficult, because it's harder to match all the possibilities on one landing page. I would hope that the domain name would be relevant to the keywords, because you're going to have a hard time selling the click (or anything else) with a domain name that doesn't make sense.
@ Dan Kingsford and anyone else wanting to join - we'll be opening in a little over a week - get on the mailing list and watch for the announcement. In the meantime, enjoy the show.
@ George & the other Adwords professionals - thank you! It takes a lot of work to get that level of knowledge, and I'm glad we could bring a little something fresh to the table for you.
@ Mike Mindel - thanks, and please don't make me laugh when I have coffee in my hand. Some screen shots from Wordtracker are in the bonus video I did. (Bring back the keyword ticker!)
Some other notes..
1) A lot of folks are setting up broad, phrase, & exact ad groups all at once. I strongly recommend beginning with exact match only. I also recommend using common sense - don't be a robot. Your gut can tell you a lot if you listen. (Mine wants me to eat breakfast right now , but it's usually more informative than that)
2) Conversion matters - so what's on your site and landing page matter. If you know your site needs work, do that work. Traffic is not a cure for a website that doesn't sell. Watch the "Click Fu / Lost Video" bonus, it's totally worth the time.
3) Get Google Analytics running, seriously. Andy's got another batch of puppies lined up, and I fear for them. I also fear for you, if you are trying to run a business without analytics.
4) If you had Google Analytics, you could tell which products on your catalog pages are getting clicks, and move those UP the page. If you don't, you're just guessing. A guess is only 50% of optimal. You can get to 80-90% of optimal real fast if you can see the data.
Thanks again to everyone for watching and commenting, and stay tuned for more.
What a great video and information you provided us. You guys always provide us great content worth thousands of dollars for free. I have tried some changes learn in these videos and get good result, waiting for your launch, I am In.
Dan Thies & the Stomper guys have produced one of the best PPC videos I've ever seen.
Just watch the damn thing. Do it now. Don't feed the cat (he can wait an hour). Don't watch that episode of Lost (it can wait too). Watch the video, implement, make some money.

Hi Andy & Dan,
What a great video you guys put together. I watched it the other night and thought it was right on target. No doubt this is the best or one of the best PPC videos out there. Better than many paid videos for sure. Some of the techniques will be also applicable to keyword research for natural
It's crazy to see that you are giving away some techniques that for some of us take time to find them. But it's all good. Building community and branding while making things better for all. Way to go!
Two weeks of work for this 45 minute piece makes it well worth.
Keep up the great work!,
Augusto Ellacuriaga
Thanks for the video! I agree with Juan Burton, you have to take it deep to get an edge on Google. Google Adwords is not an easy beast to tame, but it can be done! Keep up the great work!

This is great, great stuff.

Wow guys .. really enjoyed that. Thanks for all the tips and your hard work
Hi Guys
Great Video, I'm a Google Professional, mainly to be able to run lots of accounts with one log in. I build pages to get people started and then get them up to a good ROI before handing them off to other providers. But I must say I loved the information on this video. I have been long talking to people about good converting words, not just traffic. You have re-inforced my commitment to push this a lot further with my clients who tend to be CTR mad.
I loved the embedded trick, I have long wondered how exactly to achieve that, now I know and what a valuable lesson. Thanks.
Regards George

Again thank you Dan

Outstanding video as usual - packed full of usable information. You guys are awesome!
My only question is do the landing pages have to be as keyword specific as the other items.
Will a site like http://www.tickets-to-fly.com work if I put affiliate products on it?
Oh well, perhaps the other videos will clarify that. Thanks again.

You said it right!
I just need to catch my breath now. Wow!!
It will take a while to test these tips because I am testing one thing at a time
Thank you for always providing such great content!
Brilliant video. Never heard of embedded match before... I was thinking I need to be brave and need to start dipping my toes into Google Adwords, so this video is perfect timing. Thanks.
Nice job, Spa Marketing Guy and Jonathon!
A few folks are, in a roundabout way, asking for help with "thinking about keywords." I heard you, and I'm working on it - if you've subscribed to get the bonuses, there will be a little something extra for you after the next Going Natural video.
Although I've always hated being pigeon-holed as the "Keyword Guru," there are good reasons why people call me that - so look for that new video around Tuesday or Wednesday.
Jonathon, web design is one of the examples I often use when I teach keyword strategy, so let me give you a couple quick thoughts:
People who search for "web design" might be looking for information, free tips, templates, any number of things. They might want a book, or even a school. People who search for "web design uk" are FAR more likely to be looking for someone to hire - when you see a searcher getting specific about geography, that tells you something about what they're trying to do.
If I search for "brake repair," I might be looking for how-to advice. If I search for "brake repair dallas tx" I am obviously looking for a shop.
Make sense?
Thanks for the tip on Adobe's player, Scott.
Hugely entertaining and compelling. Still trying to get my jaw off the floor at the realisation of how much I have lost (or left on the table) with Adwords by not knowing about negative exact-matched keywords.
Due to the revelations brought about by this video, I have already cancelled my subscription to a couple of Adwords/Clickback marketing membership sites - hopefully this will help raise enough cash to be able to afford to join StomperNet when it re-opens its doors. Many thanks, for the very valuable free content. :-D
As always, you guys overdeliver! This information is so valuable. We spend a lot of money on PPC and I know we ca do a lot better to make our campaigns more effective. Thanks for sharing this information. You guys simply ROCK!
I am just curious. In this video you see that Wedding Favors isn't anymore on the first place and with Google Adwords they make more profit then with the organical search...
But I see know that they are back on number #1 for Wedding Favors. I am just curious how much more money they are making now with adwords + organical search. I think it doubled or more?
My name is Jon i am a web designer from the UK, i've seen the Stompnet 2.0 videos and i think they are the most eye opening videos ever!!
plus that Dan Thies knows what he is talking about! im now pulling in a 4:1 25.0% CTR! My add is great BUT. ive had one big problem with these videos.
I really want to make multiple websites selling things but all the sites and research i've done is more for the US market...like the MSN adlabs i put in " web design" and it says 34% when i put in "web design uk" its like 74%?!?!?
i don't understand does it count the uk market search also?
Jonathon Forshaw

have a fantastic day!
Hey Stompernet...
I first watched your Natural 3.0 video on Wed, 05/07/2008 - 00:11. Since then I went in and changed an Adgroup for one of my top keywords... here are the results.
Bare in mind the impressions are not equal at this point as the OLD Adgroup had much more volume due to time. Once the impressions are equal it will be a true comparison. But the old Adgroup only had one ad copy running... with the new adgroup implemented I have 4 ad copy running and will take out a control as you explained. Once I have enough clicks to establish this control I will compare it then run NEW control against my OLD Adgroup copy... to find the winner.
Some initial testing stats for you in just 2 days of implementing your strategies. And here is the key I took action not after watching BUT changed and created a new Adgroup WHILE watching the video.
OLD Adgroup: 1.41% CTR Average Pos: 4.7
NEW Adgroup: 8.33% CTR Average Pos: 2.4
So already I'm getting a better CTR and better position. I'll report back once the impressions are the same to give you a true account of conversions. But old conversions were over 6%.
Thanks you rock...
some technical stuff...
If you download the Quicktime version of the videos, you will need the Quicktime player to watch. Flash is used for the online version.
If you're not seeing an optin box, clearing your cookies & cache should solve that for you.
I downloaded your videos, extracted them, upgraded my flash player, and cannot play your videos on my machine, only by logging on to your site can I see the video, and only then the ATM video is all I can view.
What am I doing wrong?
Also there is no opt-in form (big green box) on my screen.
A lot of great information.
I was puzzled by one thing though. You advise to start off with an exact match like [baby gifts].
Then to get more keywords, create a new campaign that has only the phrase match - exact match so the keyword list is {baby gifts} - [baby gifts]. This is a great distinction!
The the puzzle is that there was a slide where you show the keyword list of a campaign to be [baby gifts] - {baby gifts}. But isn't that equivalent to [baby gifts]?
What am I missing?
Thanks again for the great info.
Gil
Here you will view my web page that was recently constructed and hosted.
This is on a thirty day free trial basis, and has been up and running for almost a week now, with no responses, no views, no nodda!, Zelch, zero.
The problem I am having is learning how to use the tools, let alone down loading them, such as auto responder, batch emailing, and so forth.
it appears that your program is for the advanced.
I have viewed video's where instructions are given, but by the time I go to try and utilize the steps,I've forgotten it.
Seems like most peole who are offering programs on how to make money, are only selling you more, and more programs.
They create the urgency with wordrs such as "only so much time left, or Buy before the price goes up, and so forth.
Yet they never offer anything on how to use these tooks.
Is there anything you know of that can assist me?
What I would like to do is sell e-books, affiliate networking, drop shipping and learning how to build a contact list.
I am about to pull my web page, unless I can learn how to really get the most out of it where it begins earning me some money.
Thanking you in advance.
RICHARD

I don't believe it. You guys rox! You should create fan club :P
What can say! great suff guys
http://www.golftipshere.com/
You gotta be kidding me...
The video was great, but I've got to confess, this is the FIRST TIME I have EVER heard the phrase "embedded match!" What a powerful tool!
As always your video was educational and informative.
Thanks!
Keep those questions coming folks!
Mark, you asked how to tell which is the control ad.
If you can't remember which one is the control ad, you can mouse over the ad to get its unique ID, and write that down.
If you don't feel like writing stuff down (I don't like to either), you can simply expand the date range to a few days before you started the test - your existing control will have noticeably more impressions than the copies.
If you can't remember when you started the test, use the data from "all time" and you'll spot the control in an instant.
You also asked why I wouldn't set up another campaign and/or ad group for the test.
Without considering whether that would even give me a valid test (a separate campaign would be very questionable), there's no reason to go through all that when you can test them in the same ad group, and not create additional variables that you can't control.
You'd also lose the ability to control how many impressions go to each ad, because you can't control which of two ad groups with the same keyword is going to get shown. Running ad groups that compete with each other is just a bad practice all the way around.
Roger, you suggested that we're lying and don't do our own eye tracking studies.
Well, you're wrong, my friend. Perhaps you'd like to pop by the offices sometime and look at our lab. No, we don't have the only Tobii machine in the world, we didn't invent it, and yes other people do own them and use them.
But the image in the video is from our own study. Conducted in our own lab. Exactly. As. Described.
I haven't seen the 4-1/2 year old data that Eyetools Inc. is selling at that link, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't include data from a pool of 30 users who searched for "wedding favors spring," (the SERP shown in the video!) "spring wedding favors," etc. - especially since their study was about "homepage viewing patterns."
Watch the video again, starting at about 24:40 - are you telling me that we FAKED the eye tracking shown on the My Wedding Favors site? That we FAKED the eye movements where Andy's desperately trying not to look at "those things" on Angelina Jolie?
Geez. I guess doing this stuff for over 10 years and giving away a ton of free information doesn't buy you any trust after all.
For everyone else, please keep those great comments and questions coming, and enjoy the videos.

Great information, but my head is swimming. I do want to thank you for the "Going Natural" information. You have allowed me to get more natural traffic than ever with your techniques. I haven't paid for traffic since. I guess I better get back to my Adwords account and get busy. :)
Thanks for your all the expertise you share for free. It's just incredible.
Sincerely,
Cheryl

Stompernet is awesome.
i made a ton of money using it
You said that you conducted your own heat map tests. Aren't the tests you show in the video taken from these guys and not really done by you like you claim?

(No Roger, you're wrong -- Dan)
You can invest Iin this and get good ROI.
Hey Andy & Co, just had to stop in with a comment today: interesting video you are presenting today, a bit different to what I do already - thanks for the idea - good to see you keep up with your content. Talk to you soon, take care guys.
Wow - this is better than my stocks, my bonds, my real estate, and everything else!
Anytime I can invest one dollar and get back $8.50 - I'm very interested.
I opted-in to your list today, and look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Richard Howell
I wish I had known this stuff years ago. I have been losing money using PPCs. Not knowing how to set up my advertising campaign the right way. I really appreciate your giving back to the internet community. It shows some that some of the internet gurus really do care about helping us little people. Instead of, just out to take our money and run.
I cannot wait to watch the other videos. Keep the GREAT INFO COMING!

You just give away $200+ information in your videos!
Where ohter's leave you in the dark trying to let you buy their product, you give information you can start work on right away.
Great work guys!
Regards Marcel
Great stuff and a thing that I can use for training material who are willing to go for PPC Management.
I liked the way Dan explained Embedded Matching. As always, he has a great gift of making complected things look easy.
But, I have read some books that tell you to target sales, not traffic and leverage conversion rate. And they also tell you to target keywords that have higher commercial intent value. So, blaming "The Book" section could've been a bit more elaborative.
However, it's a revolutionary thing.
Asif.
Wow! Great videos! Keep it up guys. Awesome!
Butch
All these videos are awesome. I've learned a lot and the best thing is it's free. Can't wait for more valuable videos. You guys really rock! More power:)
Why not create a new ad group or campaign for split-testing your control ad against your new ad & rotate them evenly?
Apparently when you do this your control ad is now considered new when you create another campaign.
If you have 4 of the same ads running against your 5th & newly created ad...then how would you know which ad is the control ad since you've made copies of the same ad? What if you forget?
Hi Andy,
GREAT CONTENT," AS USUAL"................STOMPERNET REALLY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks and God Bless " STOMPERNET".
For me, pretty heavy duty right now, as far as adwords are concerned...but very well done and super- educational. Just got to figure it out.
Remarkable free information...I've paid out a bundle for stuff that doesn't have anywhere near the quality of your content and presentation...just wish I had come across you sooner.
Thank you for a great service to the internet community,
Gerald
Thank you for answering my question.
I have done many courses and I would have to say you guys are definitely on top when it comes to creativity and SMARTS :)
you guys a very cool!
Sincerely
Scott
Great video SN, that was some really valuable information right there that you
gave away. I know what PPC can do, but breaking it down into more details and
using it to your advantage, I like...

As a former Google Certified Adwords Professional, I thought I had seen it all about adwords. What you've got here really makes sense and I'm really excited to learn something new about adwords!

Hi folks... Dan Thies here.
First of all, we'd like to thank you ALL for your great comments. I would like to thank you all personally, and maybe I'll get to do that in person at our next Stompernet Live seminar later this summer.
Every "Going Natural" video is an exercise in "can you top this" - I wanted this one to so massively over-deliver on anything we've done before, that you might remember my name... mission accomplished?
Seriously - it was a lot of fun working on this video with Andy. Since I didn't know exactly what he was going to do, I actually got to watch the finished product at the same time all of you did. Haircut 2.0... Heh. I'm still using Haircut 0.9 beta.
Anyway...
We've had some great questions posted, and I'll try to answer as many as possible. In some cases, questions are very similar so I'm going to answer them once. We already put you through 50 minutes of training, so why ask you to read a novel, eh?
To be very very very clear about broad, phrase, and exact match:
Andy's not perfect because he accidentally cut the slide that showed the screen shot of the exact match, but that's what you want to start with. Start with the keyword in brackets, like this:
[baby gifts]
One keyword/phrase, in brackets, in one ad group... with the 4 test ads like we showed in the video. That will give you the best chance of reaching profitability quickly, and the ad that results from your exact match testing, with slight modifications, is going to give you a very good starting point for all your other ad groups.
(To be fair to Andy, he was up for something like 27 hours straight editing this, because I kept calling him and asking when it was going to be done...)
For those who asked about tools:
I don't have any particular recommendations to offer. I've played around with most of the ones mentioned, and I'm still waiting for one that works better for me than just using the web interface and Adwords Editor, combined with running the right reports on a regular basis. Maybe we'll have to build it ourselves.
For those who asked about testing methods,
There's been some pretty interesting discussion at my blog, where Stomper faculty member (and conversion/testing expert) Andy Edmonds posted some fantastic advice in the comments on an easy way to figure out the results of a test.
Do I recommend using Yahoo and MSN?
Yes, I do, but Adwords is the best place to test. Yahoo and MSN don't support the same matching options so you have to be aware of how their system works to do well.
With Yahoo the best you can do is a "Standard Match" which is not quite as good as exact or phrase matching at Google. In my experience you want to be profitable with phrase & exact matches @ Google before you move things to Yahoo.
We've found the traffic from MSN to be worthwhile, but the volume is very low, so the time cost of managing it can be more than it's worth. It depends on the volume - expect to get 10% as much in sales from MSN and work from there.
Tashi, and anyone else "missing" from Google:
There are a lot of ways to screw up that aren't all Google's fault, but if you want to learn what happened to Brad's site, you can read my detailed explanation of the bug here.
It looks like Google has fixed the problem for now, so it's unlikely that you're suffering from the same problems that Brad and I had to figure out. Start troubleshooting by Googling for some phrases that should be unique to your page, and see what shows up.
Brad, and others with questions about Microsoft's commercial intent tool:
Garbage in, garbage out is a common expression among programmers. They aren't trying to do a good job determining the commercial intent of people who search for "ä" so don't hold 'em to those estimates. Search volume for that was pretty low so it wouldn't pass the traffic test, or the relevance test, but it's fun to play around with these tools. Loved the "bugs included" line, Brad.
I think you're after scores above 90% for most ecommerce sites, but you can't take the results of a research tool as gospel. Your gut can tell you a lot - I didn't need a tool to tell me we wanted to make money when people searched for [baby gifts].
Commercial intent here means, more or less, that they're "trying to buy something" as a result of the search. For brand names, you may not see as high a commercial intent, because those are often information searches or people "navigating by search." By navigating, I mean typing in "Chevy Tahoe" to get to the official site.
To those asking Andy to do a course on video...
Andy & Don Crowther did something like 8 hours of webinars on exactly how to do this as part of our SMARTS course. So he has taught this stuff before.
Andy might kill a puppy (or me) if I tell you anything about his future product plans, but in addition to the SMARTS video webinars which are already in our library, we've got 2 new courses that are being released to our members right now, from a couple of other guys who are world-class experts in video production & marketing with video.
Quick shout out @ Dirk Dupon:
Wow, we've been doing this stuff for a long time, man!
To everyone who has learned a lot from Andy & Brad, and isn't afraid to say so:
Thank you for your kind words. You ain't seen nothing yet. We've got 15 faculty members in Stompernet now, and I'm only one of them. With that kind of muscle, we can do a lot of teaching, and not just about SEO. There are five brand new courses being delivered in our portal right now.
Naturally, I like to think I'm the smartest of the group, but there are probably a few members of the faculty who might disagree with me on that! Starting with Brad & Andy. :D
We’ll talk more soon – in the meantime, enjoy the bonus videos, and watch your email for the next installment of “Going Natural 3.0”!
1. This is another amazing information as always.
2. Thanks for sharing.
3. High regards, --OSF.
The best hour I have spent online all day!
Keep the good stuff coming.
Amazing content as always.
Thank you once again,
Doug

Great video! PPC is after article marketing the best traffic generating system.
I'm a member of the SMARTS Club, and I can vouch for the excellent quality of all the training material that you provide. Thanks for making these great freebies available to everyone. I have posted the link on my blog.
Great stuff guys. I am a newbie starting now so I hope I can also go to $150K in 6 months. I am so releived to see this info after wading through site after site of crap about getting 50,000 hits here and
20,000 there by joining some rubbish pyramid. Even I as a newbie realise hits are no use. I'd rather have 50 hits where 2 people buy than 100,000 where 1 person buys.
The only way to get real traffic in my view is search engine, Adwords, offline ads. You advise on adwords is great.
Thanks
Hi Andy and Brad!
It's been a while since I heard from you! It's good to know that you are still opened for new comers. I was a member of the Stomper SIMPLE programm untill I ran out of cash! I hope to rejoin, and I hope to reactivate again my last account when I get profitable...
You guys deliver great content, and I am really missing a lot not being part of the Stomper community! I think anyone serious about making money on the Internet should think Stomper! In my view making money online starts with Stomper... Great video, great content, I can't wait to seeing more; and most of all, I hope to rejoin StomperNet again!!!
Regards,
Maurice

Sorry for my ignorance but I got lost with the broad match and phrase match.
Did you mean start off with the key phrase as [phrase] and then adopt the embedded match afterwards or was it to start test with broad match ...phrase... and then adopt other matches later.
I watched the video 3 times and I cannot find your exact instruction on this? Can you please assist.
I am really enjoying the videos, thank you so very much.
Sincerely,
Scott
I have thousands of pages registered with many search engines, lots of search
engine traffic with an Alexa rank of 184,737 with over 20 Number 1 rated searchs
and 20 more on page one of Google and I still not profitable so everything you
are saying is absolutely necessary and to the point. You are a savior !!!!!!
Dude- "Making up for Vista" that's hilarious. I have it, and I hate it.
Thanks for the vid.
I am very impressed with the information in your video -- learned some new techniques I am looking forward to trying out. Thank you!

Todd
Hi again Andy & Brad
I went to the school of hard knocks I am a self taught SEO SEM web & graphics designer. I have to say this stomper stuff the best info I have found anywhere. This is why I have been following for years, even back when you were on call for help I knew then you were great.
One slight problem I noticed with this set of videos I can see the one above but when downloaded they do not show, only the voices, so I may need a new codec or plugin, but nothing is saying.
Anyway I recomend that anyone with enough money to pay stompernet SHOULD JUST DO IT. These guys are pure genius. I found after watching going natural 2.0 I chec
