Wow - I didn't know that duplicate content was…. duplicate content! I always assumed it referred to posting the same article in multiple article directories, which didn't make sense to me anyway. Now I know that Google does like article directories. Great tip on the indented listings, too. Thanks! This was a video worth watching. I know not to use duplicate content, however I was not aware that the site template was included in the word count for duplicate content. I only looked at the "Content Container". Ryan Andy, your two videos have earned me a No. 1 listing in Google out of 9,340 websites for my keyphrase in under 5 days. Thanks, You clarified the meaning of duplicate content. I was totally oblivious to the fact that this could occur within a website just because of the page templates. Thank you very, very much. I've beefed up the text in the central areas of each page of my site. Prior to seeing your video I had a page with a mortgage calculator, which had no text in the central area. That's been rectified now. Brian |
